Jenn Brown

Jenn Brown is an Authorized Trainee Awareness Through Movement® teacher and hopes to be a fully certified Feldenkrais teacher in 2020. She is a freelance writer and editor working with various clients in the spirituality and health fields, including the Omega Institute and 1440 Multiversity. A perceptive listener driven by curiosity, she is especially skilled in understanding and distilling the ideas of creative and thoughtful visionaries who have something to share with the world.

Janine Dykstra Gunderman

Sleepy Hollow, New York

Janine has worked as an RN and NP in a variety of settings, including hospital staff positions in intensive care units, as well as in non-hospital positions, including time as a domestic visiting nurse. She has also worked for the Peace Corps in Guatemala. A Guild Certified Practitioner, she has been a staff practitioner at the Feldenkrais Institute in New York City since 2014 and an assistant administrator for the Feldenkrais Foundation since 2016.


Linda Hanson

Yorktown Heights, New York

Linda Hanson is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner. She has been a physical therapist since 1980 and a craniosacral therapist since 1991. She is also a Child'Space practitioner and has experience working with both children and adults.

Kevin Healy

Hurley, New York

Kevin has been a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner since 2013, though his interest in health and healing dates back to his teenage years when he started learning about healthy eating and vitamins. As he got older, he realized the importance of exercise and taking care of the body. Back and neck pain led him to the Feldenkrais Method, and his improvement inspired him to want to share the method with others. Kevin teaches monthly classes at The Living Seed in New Paltz. 



Nancy Gayle Judson

Highland, New York, and New Paltz, New York

Nancy Gayle Judson has been a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner since 2009. She currently practices out of her home studio in Highland, New York and at Woodland Pond in New Paltz. She works primarily with the senior population, although not exclusively. Prior to her current private practice, she was a staff practitioner at the Feldenkrais Institute in New York City . She will also be certified as a Senior Fitness Specialist in late Fall of 2018.

Lynn Kenny is a Guild Certified Practitioner who started out as a high school English teacher. After her daughter, Nora Kate, was born with Down Syndrome, her new path became clear. After 6 years of intensive study at The Feldenkrais Institute of New York, the last two specializing in working with children, she became a Feldenkrais teacher and movement specialist. Marina Michahelles

Red Hook, New York

Marina Michahelles is a flower farmer and Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner who offers both Awareness Through Movement and Functional Integration in the Red Hook area. Marina works with people of any age and ability, but is currently in training to work with children, particularly those with physical and developmental difficulties.

Drew Minter

Stone Ridge, New York


Drew Minter is an authorized Awareness Through Movement® teacher.  As an internationally known countertenor for four decades, Drew sang leading roles in the opera houses of Brussels, Toulouse, Boston, Washington, Santa Fe, BAM, Wolf Trap, Glimmerglass, Nice, and Marseilles, performing with many of the world's foremost baroque orchestras, and making over 70 recordings.  He has been a senior music director at Vassar College since 1999. He incorporates the Feldenkrais Method and the Alexander Technique, and the Viewpoints acting technique into his teaching. he is also trained in Polarity, Kahuna work and Body Electric.

Mary Newell, PhD, is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner who offers individual sessions and workshops at her studio in Garrison, New York. She assists clients in achieving their life goals with less stress, pain, and stiffness, better coordination, balance, and expressive range. She works with a range of clients, from those with chronic back, neck, or neurological issues to those seeking to refine musical, athletic, or performance skills. Buffy Owens is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner® and Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach with a steadfast passion for helping folks move beyond pain and into a life that fills them up from the inside, out!

Margaret Pierpont

Rhinebeck, New York

Margaret Pierpont, a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, offers Awareness Through Movement classes and private Functional Integration sessions in the Rhinebeck area, including the Lifetime Learning Institute at Bard College. She has had a life-long interest in movement, relaxation, and the mind-body connection and extensive experience in dance, yoga, and meditation. Connie Rotunda is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner and has worked as a training program practitioner at the Feldenkrais Insititute in New York City. She is on the theater faculty at SUNY New Paltz and has also served on the faculty at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts (NYCDA) as the lead teacher of movement. She is trained in a number of other modalities, including the Viewpoints, the Margolis Method, the Michael Chekhov Technique, Linklater, Middendorf breath work, and Trish Arnold work.

Leigh Scott

Hudson, New York

Leigh is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner who combines her decades of experience as a parenting facilitator and shiatsu massage therapist with the Feldenkrais Method to work with babies in the first year. After extensively studying attachment research and social neuroscience, Leigh’s work includes supporting parents with whatever is keeping them up at night, as well as assisting infants with motor and social development.

Beth Stewart

Campbell Hall, New York

Beth Stewart is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner who has been offering classes, workshops and private sessions Orange County in the Hudson Valley since 1999. She has a bachelor’s degree in physical education and worked for many years in human services before training in the Feldenkrais Method. Beth has also studied Aikido for 30 years, teaches at the Aikido School of Self Defense in Middletown, New York, and is a volunteer sailor with the Beacon Sloop Club.

Copake, New York

Frania Zins is a former dancer and physical therapist and a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner. In 2015 she relocated to the Hudson Valley from New York City. She has taught at NYU and CUNY physical therapy departments, and has led numerous workshops for healthcare practitioners, the public, and dancers. She currently works in Copake and New York City.

Tara Vamos

Cold Spring, New York

Tara Vamos has been a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner since 2002 and an Anat Baniel Method for Children practitioner since 2006. She formerly taught children and teens with multiple disabilities at the Texas school for the Blind and Visually Impaired and taught literacy through dance in New York City public schools. Tara is committed to helping children expand their horizons and learn new ways to move and think. She helps children and adults discover the joy that learning and movement can bring to their lives.

Zahava Wilson

West Hurley, New York

Zahava Wilson completed her Feldenkrais Training in 1999 with David Zemach-Bersin, and graduated from the Anat Baniel Method for Children training in 2005. She is a licensed physical therapist with a Masters of Science Degree from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Movement Studies from Hampshire College. Her clients include children of all ages with developmental and neurological disabilities, people with chronic pain, musicians, dancers, athletes, and others who want to optimize themselves in their endeavors.
